Winter on Martha’s Vineyard can be cold and isolated.  But nightlife, when it exists, can be a warm meeting of friends over spirits and music.  In homage to Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet, et al, Cobalt Gallery presented a mini-show of sketches on cocktail napkins done in the local watering holes and skanky dives.  Artists were encouraged to keep those doodles on napkins instead of trading them for a drink, or blowing their noses.  After all, that’s what sleeves were made for.

Members of Artists Anonymous included: Marston Clough, Mitch Gordon, Nina Gomez Gordon, Bob Kimberly, Will Savage, John Wiener, and Barney Zeitz.
